Food and Ice Cream in Bisbee
After a meeting at St. Patrick's, I enjoyed a great burger at Bisbee's Table and then had delicious gelato at PussyCat Gelato on Main St. Feeling content from the treats, I headed back to Tucson.

So, now I can share exciting news: a new music video will be released soon. I believe you will thoroughly enjoy it. The setting is absolutely fabulous, with an exceptional film director and marvelous actors bringing the vision to life. There is more to come in the near future.

On Sunday, March 17, the Cathedral Schola showcased some of my music compositions, including three pieces commissioned by the Kino Heritage Society in honor of Father Eusebius Kino, known as the "Father of the Pimería Alta". The event was hosted by Msgr. Greg Adolf, Pastor of St. Andrew the Apostol Catholic Parish.

Trobár in Tucson
On March 19, the Cathedral Concerts delighted attendees with Trobár, a medieval music ensemble hailing from Ohio. Performing under the title Love's Dominion, Trobár showcased their exceptional skills through a repertoire that included pieces from the Cantigas de Santa Maria and Codex Calixtinus.

This rendition, skillfully interpreted by the English countertenor Michael Chance, was performed in Zamora, Mexico, during the 2012 edition of the Ars Vocalis México festival, an event that I had the honor of establishing and overseeing.

A couple of years ago, the Kino Heritage Society commissioned a musical setting of the Magnificat to be used for Vespers in honor of Father Eusebius Kino, the Padre of the Pimería Alta. The work premiered on March 20, 2022, at St. Augustine Cathedral in Tucson, AZ.

Every detail, from the beautiful decor to the thoughtful gestures, shows genuine hospitality. Let's not forget the bacanora that added to the inviting atmosphere.
A memorable performance
Last month, I was fortunate to perform in a Canto Latino concert alongside my friends, Misael Barraza Díaz and José Luis Puerta. We had to change the venue from the Ballroom to the Chapel, which resulted in us giving 2 performances. The audience was pleased with our rendition of Latin American music.
