Tú Me Acostumbraste

A few weeks ago, I posted on Facebook a video that contains the audio of the bolero Tú Me Acostumbraste, but the video contained only the text of the song and a photo with a flower. That video reached more than 150,000 views, 3,500 shares and  likes. The public response has been motivating to continue with this project. Therefore, I decided to record a music video to give a better presentation of this product.

In Tucson, Arizona I had the opportunity to record with Nick Murray and Harry Findysz at Southern Arizona Video Productions. During my flying visit to Mazatlan, it occurred to me to record a video to add / enrich the video shot in the studio, but I had no contacts in the media world in Mazatlán that could support me. Julieta Lomelí (what would I do without her?) put me in touch with Adrián Villela and his company Doce Media, who were in charge of the logistics organization for the filming of the music video. The video was recorded in El Presidio - Cocina de México, a must-see culinary visit in Mazatlan. I was fortunate to have dinner twice in the restaurant - I recommend Salmon with Maple - and I could enjoy the coexistence of rustic / ancient and modern architecture. Important was the collaboration with Stephany Carvajal and her modeling agency for the realization of the video.

Thanks to you, this new video has more than 200,000 views, 4,000 shares and 4,000 likes!

Many thanks to musicians Mauricio Rodríguez, Daniel Girón y Osvaldo Fleites for their commitment to the project. As always, a joy to work with George Nardo, of Luna Recording Studio in Tucson. A great experience to collaborate with  Grammy® Award-Winner Recording Engineer Brian Losch, to whom I thank for his excellent work and mixing and mastering results. Heartfelt thanks to Harry Findysz and Nick Murray of Southern Arizona Video Productions and to Adrián Villela and David Adame of Doce Media for all the visuals.
