Italian and Latin American Songs at ASA
A few days ago, I had the distinct pleasure of collaborating with the talented Misael Barraza Díaz and the skilled José Luis Puerta in a captivating performance featuring a selection of Italian and Latin American songs at the Arizona Senior Academy. For the “Italian” section of the program, the talented violist Ann Weaver joined us, and her playing sounded absolutely amazing and added a beautiful depth to the music. The audience was both happy and excited to listen to beloved Latin American traditional pieces such as Sabor a Mí, Cucurrucucú, and Piel Canela, which truly resonated with everyone present.
