Amor Latino - Tucson Desert Song Festival

The 9th Annual Tucson Desert Song Festival Celebrates Songs of Love January 20th through February 12th, 2021. This concert of Latin American music titled Amor Latino features Carlos Zapién (voice), Edwin Guevara-Gutiérrez and Misael Barraza-Diaz (guitar).

About this year's Desert Song Festival :

This year we are celebrating songs of love with a gathering of world-renowned classical singers. Programming will feature the premiere of a new song cycle by Jake Heggie, composed for acclaimed mezzo soprano Jamie Barton. During this festival, four of Tucson’s leading performing arts organizations will explore love in all its forms with such leading vocal artists as Jamie Barton, Bryan Hymel (TDSF’s Artist-in-Residence), Carlos Zapién, and the Tenet Vocal Artists.
